Recruitment marketing services company Arbita has acquired The Staffing Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides companies with best-practice information and resources.
Arbita says it plans to incorporate The Staffing Institute within Arbita Consulting and Education Services, which provides workshops, self-help products, recruiter and sourcer development, and consulting.
Fellows and advisors of The Staffing Institute include, among others, Gerry Crispin; Wendell Williams; and Charles Handler.
In semi-related news, Shally Steckerl, Arbita executive vice president, will be hosting an episode of Fordyce TV on Tuesday, August 18.
