NPA Reports Overall Growth

NPA president Dave Nerz notes that “demand for skilled talent and strategic recruiting remains high,” adding that his member-owned cooperative reported modest growth in placement activity for 2008. The membership, comprised of independent recruiters who work cooperatively to complete searches, saw an increase in both the number of placements as well as shared fee revenue.

Despite an economic slowdown, Nerz says there are still critical talent shortages in many skilled occupations. He says NPA members participated in 571 placements (a 2% increase over 2007) and fee revenue increased by 2% to $10.2 million dollars.
