About half of NYC’s licensed employment agencies have used illegal or deceptive practices, according to a city news release.
Most of the agencies are preying on the city’s most vulnerable job seekers, and Mayor Bloomberg says “the City will continue to crack down on employment agencies that prey on innocent New Yorkers.”
